A little extra care can go a long way!
Here are some tips and tricks to getting the most out of your blooms.
Cut stems on an angle with a sharp knife or clippers at least ¾th of an inch to allow the flowers to drink ample water. Remove any foliage or petals from the waterline. Re-cut stems with every water change.
Flowers take on more water than you would think! Fill the vase with lots of water to ensure your blooms get enough to drink, and add ½ of the package of plant food. Change water every couple days with room temperature water and add the remaining ½ pack of plant food.
Different flowers have different life spans.
Just because a couple are drooping does not mean the whole arrangement is done!
Pull out the wilted blooms as they droop and extend the life span of your florals.
To make your flowers last longest, keep out of direct sunlight and away from extreme heat or cooler temperatures.
